This artwork has been inspired from a moment, a moment I prefer spending alone, a brief yet necessary interaction between Darjeeling tea and I. Whether its brooding over a web of thoughts or simply enjoying the silence,this period is a time of self-reflection. It resonates with who I am and hence is a crucial part of my identity. The artwork is symbolic, the borders have been made using ground coffee and water which lays emphasis on my Telugu heritage. The flowers on the coffee borders are pen medium. The main subject of the art piece is the tea set; being the same set I have been using since I was about 8. I aimed to portray sentiment. The entire set has been sketched using shading pencils (8b,6b,5b and 4b). The sketch has been done on an A4 sheet.
